Welcome to The Mental Game Challenge (Mind-Eye Coordination Training)!
A Message From Morgan
This is a skill that takes you from someone whose best defense is to react to life and roll the dice with how emotions will affect you into someone who:
Knows her tendencies when tested
Can navigate the emotions of stress, and
Can channel those into a response that will push her forward instead of land her stuck and not knowing where to go next.
In the next six weeks, you will be challenged and equipped with so much - but only if you fully commit to the work. We are all athletes here. We all understand the value of hard work.
You get what you put in. You got this!
How This Course Works
This content is meant to be spread out over six weeks of learning.
Each week you will presented with a learning objective that you will master.
Each lesson will be accompanied by a video or audio notes from me to make sure you are understanding what you are reading and what you should be doing with that information.
As you move through the course, you will be asked to answer questions, record reactions, and get out of your comfort zone with how you see your thought process.
By the end of six weeks, you should have a more solid understanding of your mental toughness and be able to identify what steps you can take to continue to improve after practicing your daily journalling, awareness, and weekly exercises.
WEEKLY BREAKDOWN
WEEK 1: YOUR STARTING POINT
WEEK 2: REACTION AWARENESS
WEEK 3: GOOD SELF TALK
WEEK 4: ADJUSTMENT MEMORY
WEEK 5: YOU CAN PIVOT
WEEK 6: WRAP UP & NEXT STEPS
Mind-Eye Audio/Video Notes
Introduce each key concept and keeps you on track. Narrated by me with extra insight on each learning objective.
Mind-Eye Journal
Each journal entry/exercise is separated into the six weeks of your training. The bulk of the work done in mental and emotional training will always be self-reflection. By devoting time to your thoughts on your experiences, you can easily check in on your progress and set realistic goals for mind-eye responses and adjustments
Just Like Hand-Eye Coordination...
This skill gets better and better the more you work at it.
This course is six weeks because of the practice time planned into it. The more you practice positive thoughts and emotions towards situations you find yourself in, the easier those reactions become habit and the quicker you will respond naturally in that way.
YOUR FIRST ACTIVITY:
FIRST: Read about your Defensive Personality and understand how it affects your reaction to failure.
SECOND: Go through this chapter and Week 1 content and complete your Mind-Eye Journal exercises.
This is a week to get used to the flow of information and to start your process of self-reflection. Going through the information shouldn’t take you long. It’s putting these concepts into practice that is the real work.
This is where you can think back on your practices growing up. You can know HOW to do something, but mastering that skill takes time and energy and a lot of repetition.
The good news is that now you’ll know exactly what you need to work through to get mentally tougher. I’m excited for you to get started!
